Admin Council Minutes Feb. 22, 2001
Present: Phyllis Thompson, Rachel Houghton, Christy Graunke, Mark Ace,
Robin Schuckmann, Debbie Layton, Christine Champeaux, Kate Evans
* Minutes for the Jan. 25th meeting were approved.
SIG and Officer Reports (in absentia):
* Ryan Gibson--Online SIG
Fifteen people attended the Tek meeting; we made $35.
*Jeff Jansen--Treasurer
We have approximately $12,000 in checking and $5,000 in our money 
market
account, for a $17,000 total. We have not yet received the money from
National.
SIG, Committee, and Officer Reports (present):
Christy Graunke--Publicity
Christy will send out another post card advertising the Hackos 
workshop.
* Robin Schuckmann--Newsletter
The latest issue of the Galley is up on the Web; we haven't announced 
this
yet. The deadline for the Editing edition is March 1. After much 
discussion
we decided to make the Galley available to all interested viewers; it 
will
no longer be exclusive to STC members.
* Debbie Layton--Archivist, Photographer
Debbie will be taking pictures of the distinguished entries in the 
competition.
* Mark Ace--Immediate Past President
Mark is attempting to acquire an In Focus projection system for the 
Chapter.
Conference Planning: Mark is continuing to contact potential sponsors.
Christine Champeaux--Competition
We discussed whether to have group certificates or one certificate for 
each
contributor. Jon Lee helped design the certificate; Christine will 
print
them at Mark's office. We decided against frames. Roger Hadley will 
take
care of the Best in Show display. The judges will receive denim shirts 
with
the Chapter logo. The online enties will be on display at Mark's 
training
facility. Rachel and Christine will switch competition roles next year.
*Phyllis Thompson--President
Christine Champeaux, Mark Ace, Jon Harvey, and Jeffrey Harris have 
earned
Chapter Achievement Awards; they'll be announced in Intercom.
From the last meeting: the status of a memorial to Margot is still on 
hold;
we need a preliminary budget so we can know what we can afford to give.
