Scholarship Program

Since 1971, STC has fostered the growth of the profession by awarding scholarships to students enrolled in technical communication programs at universities, colleges, junior colleges and technical schools. In fiscal year 1999, the Society awarded scholarships to seven undergraduates and seven graduate students studying technical communication during the 1999-2000 academic year. Each student received a $2,500 scholarship for a total of $35,0000 awarded by STC to future technical communicators. Since the program's inception, STC has awarded more that $360,000 to deserving students.
