DevaHelp tools for DreamweaverBy Karen Bledsoe I have been writing online Help using eHelp tools since 1993. Recently, I chose Weisner's DevaHelp tools to generate Table of Contents and Index files for a group of HTML files built with Macromedia's Dreamweaver. The object was to provide online Help to run in a browser in a Unix environment. I've had the DevaHelp tools about 10 days, and I am pleased with both the flexibility of the tools and the clarity of the accompanying documentation. Since I'm figuring all of it out as I go along, the fact that I feel more pleased and successful than annoyed and confused at this point serves, in my mind, as a recommendation for the tools. A trial download is available at www.devahelp.com. Karen Bledsoe is a contract tech writer, currently with Brooks Automation in Hillsboro.
