Before You Spend
- PCC Offers Free Exploratory Course
By Ken Dodge, Project Manager, CASE
Think
you're interested in high tech? Want to find out more before you commit your hard-earned
money? The CASE Program at Portland Community College offers a tuition-free, credit-bearing
course called "TEKnology - High Tech Career Exploration."
Offered
on both the Sylvania and Cascade campuses, the purpose of this course is to help
students decide which classes to take before spending a lot of money.
In
addition to exploring and discussing the types of careers available for graduates
with a high tech degree, students create a personal education plan, and map out
the classes required to reach their individual educational goals.
