• Portland State University, Professional Development Center-Business Management: According to this site, this accelerated program "provides essential management and leadership tools and techniques for career advancement and business success." It offers a certificate of completion that a student can obtain in as few as six months.
• Portland State University, Professional Development Center-Project Management: This site describes program and certificate overviews, courses, registration procedures, lists course schedules, etc. required to obtain a Professional Development Certificate of Completion in Project Management.
• Project Management Forum (PMF): The Program Management Forum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and expanding leadership in Program Management as a business philosophy. The four key goals of PMF are to 1) establish an environment for program managers to create, grow, and share collective knowledge about Program Management leading to greater profit and improved productivity in the enterprise; 2) apply lessons learned from practitioners to solve problems faced by colleagues; 3) provide an open environment for the exchange of ideas while safeguarding confidential or proprietary information; and 4) educate those considering a career path in Program Management.
• Project Management Institute (PMI®): Since its founding in 1969, PMI® has become the organization of choice for project management professionalism. With over 86,000 members worldwide, it is the leading nonprofit professional association for Project Management. PMI establishes Project Management standards, provides seminars, educational programs, and professional certification that more and more organizations desire for their project leaders.
